| Despite the recent “property market crash!” headlines I found that property investors are just as committed to building their property businesses as they have always been. That’s because the people who last in this business are those who take a long term view of the market. In other words, they buy quality property at bargain basement prices, rent the property out and sit tight for at least five years. Prior to the show, I’d spent four days on the road working with our good friends at The Money Centre. They are the UK’s biggest and best known buy to let mortgage broker. I am responsible for training their consultants and clients on how to find and buy bargain properties using little or none of their own money. |
I also invite a lot of my own clients along to these workshops because they are great opportunities for me to spend time with friends. The workshops are held three times a month all over the UK and I attend all of them so if you want to spend some time with me and my team simply respond to the regular emails I send out regarding these workshops. To unwind after the show, I spent a week at my apartment in the South of Spain (www.motivational-retreat.com) with my wife. I try to spend a week out there at least once every six weeks to set my goals |
and work on the important strategic elements of our businesses. During our stay there, a friend mentioned Barcelona as a great destination so we packed our bags and caught the next flight out from Malaga airport. We had a great time there exploring one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Finally, the search for land to build my own home also took an interesting twist this month… As regular readers of this newsletter will know, I’ve been looking for a plot to build my own home for a few months. We’ve lost out on five promising plots brought to us by estate agents and finders because other people outbid me on these properties. I have two plots still in mind and I’ll tell you all about those in next month’s issue! | ||
